Colombian singer/songwriter Kali Uchis releases the visuals to her Vince Staples and Steve Lacy-assisted single “Only Girl.”
The “Ridin Round” singer released the song a few weeks back, but quickly returned for a thought-provoking video about replaceable lovers and desperation.
In a statement about the visual, Kali said, “I was inspired by fake love, Edie Sedgwick, Nancy Sinatra and Calle 13. The video speaks on how disposable/replaceable ‘lovers’ are treated and the things we will say/do out of loneliness.”
After touring alongside Leon Bridges, Kali’s refocusing on recording her debut LP. Her debut album is scheduled to drop later on this year.
