Troy Ave

UPDATE: 05/26/16, 10:49 A.M. EST

After making headlines for seemingly wishing Troy Ave had died in the Irving Plaza shooting, Manolo Rose has responded to said accusations.

He commented under a Shade Room post with the following:

Some joke. Stay tuned for more updates.

“She Belongs to the Game” rapper Troy Ave was one of four people injured in a shooting that occurred at T.I.‘s Irving Plaza concert in NYC on Wednesday night. B$B Banga was killed in the altercation—and, as more details surface about, all are not happy to see Troy Ave made it out of the venue alive and well.

Troy Ave’s leg was only grazed, but if you had taken an early morning peek at Coke Boy’s rapper Manolo Rose Twitter feed, that’s not a good thing. Manolo retweeted (and then deleted) a fan’s ugly assessment of the incident:

The low blow quickly caught social media’s attention and Instagram users swarmed The Shade Room’s comments with their thoughts. “corny. how you wish death upon others? smh.” one user wrote, while another agreed with Manolo’s retweet, adding, “Said what everyone is thinkin!!!!”

Just six days ago, Manolo sent out this coincidental tweet:

Manolo and Troy haven’t been on good terms ever since Troy dropped his track “All About The Money,” which has the same beat and hook as Manolo’s “Dope Man.” Watch Manolo speak on the issue in an interview with Hot 97, plus more on how Troy Ave got “All About the Money” in an interview with Global Grind below.
