U.S. SUPREME COURT

On Monday, the Supreme Court just ruled that cops can now use evidence found in illegal stops. Let’s put this in perspective:

Say you get pulled over for not using your signal or your brake light is out and they find out you have a warrant, and they search you and put you in the back of the car. If they search you and find “paraphernalia” they can now use that evidence in that situation even if that’s not why you got pulled over.

We know the police and the courts have been using this against people, but not it is officially being ruled by the Supreme Court and will be used against you in the court of law. Smh.
