Desiigner Is Turning His “Timmy Turner” XXL Freestyle Into A Song With Travi$ Scott
This is really happening.
After his XXL Freestyle went viral last week, G.O.O.D. Music newcomer Desiigner is transforming the “Timmy Turner” freestyle into a song with Travi$ Scott.
Kanye’s longtime producer Mike Dean Periscoped a studio session with Desiigner, in which they were creating a skeleton beat for the freestyle.
Since its release, the Internet has created endless memes and jokes about the XXL Freestyle, calling it a “trap negro spiritual” and a “slave chant.” There’s also been jokes about Desiigner not speaking English in the semi-inaudible freestyle.
Speaking of language barriers, Desiigner recently dropped his debut mixtape No English, which is exclusively streaming on TIDAL.
No word on when Desiigner’s “Timmy Turner” song will drop, but the way he’s cranking out material, it’ll be soon.
