Playboy Model Dani Mathers Investigated By LAPD For Body-Shaming

Playboy model Dani Mathers is in hot water after body shaming a woman at the gym.

Earlier this week, the 29-year-old model shared an image of a naked woman at the gym on Snapchat, captioning the photo, “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.” Proving that everything shared on Snapchat doesn’t fully disappear, the images have led the LAPD to open a criminal investigation into the incident.

This investigation will be based on disseminating private images, according to ET. L.A. Fitness spoke to the media giant about the incident, saying they will be contacting the police. “Our written rules are very clear: Cell phone usage and photography are prohibited in the locker rooms. This is not only our rule, but common decency. Her behavior is appalling and puts every member at risk of losing their privacy. Her membership has been permanently revoked, at all our health clubs, and law enforcement has been notified.”

Mathers sent out a public apology on Twitter shortly after the incident (her account has since been deleted). She could be facing a misdemeanor charge.
