Young Thug Celebrates 25th Birthday And PUMA AW16 Campaign Release In Atlanta

Young Thug wants the Georgia police to put some respeck on his name.

The rapper reportedly headed to court on Friday to clear his name in a criminal case from July 2015, in which he was charged with gun possession and felony marijuana and cocaine possession, just after being arrested for making terrorist threats to a security guard.

Thug is claiming the police illegally searched his home and is demanding all evidence found inside be excluded from his upcoming trial due to its illegal obtainment. He says the warrant should not have been issued for various reasons, including no backup information on why the law enforcement officers believed “confidential sources” that said weapons and illegal narcotics were being stored at his home.

According to reports, the prosecution recently headed to court and filed docs in which they dismissed all the felony gun charges and the felony cocaine possession charge, but the Jeffery artist is still facing the marijuana possession charge, which carries a minimum sentence of 2 years in prison and a maximum of 15 years.

The judge has yet to rule on Thugga’s motion.
