Iman’s Touching Instagram Tribute To David Bowie Will Have You In Your Feelings
It’s been almost a year since music icon David Bowie passed away. His wife Iman wants the world to know just how much his memory means to her and the world at large.
The 61-year-old model took to Instagram this past weekend to celebrate her late husband with a sentimental black-and-white photo of them locked in a loving embrace. “#FBF, #ImanArchive, BowieForever,” Iman captioned the photo. The post is particularly timely, as yesterday would have been his 70th birthday.
Iman followed up the post by promoting the vinyl cover art to Bowie’s upcoming posthumous legacy albums:
Iman and Bowie tied the knot back in 1992. The iconic couple welcomed daughter Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones in 2000. Bowie died on Jan. 10, 2016, after a long battle with liver cancer. Bowie and his family kept his diagnosis private until the announcement of his death.
