Speed Cameras are now activated on the Capital Beltway

For now you will just receive a warning ticket for speeding on the beltway. That will only be for the first 21 days. Starting August 8th if you are caught driving more than 12 miles-per hour over the posted speed limit, you will receive a $40 ticket in the mail.
