A Brief History Of Pusha T And Drake's Feud

On Wednesday night, Pusha T held a listening event for his upcoming “Daytona” album and one track, in particular, is getting a lot of buzz.

In “Infrared”,  Pusha says “It was written like Nas, but it came from Quentin” which references Quentin Miller, Drake’s alleged ghostwriter.

Drake and Pusha T have a long history of throwing jabs at each other. Hit the flip for a brief run down.

Pusha T – Exodus 23:1 (2013)

“Contract all f*cked up /I guess that means you all f*cked up /You signed to one nigga that signed to another nigga /That’s signed to three niggas, now that’s bad luck / Damn that shit even the odds now / You better off selling this hard now / You call it living out your dreams /You can’t fly without your wings”

Pusha T drops bars about Drake being signed to Lil Wayne who is signed to Birdman and unable to get paid.

Drake – Tuscan Leather (2013)

“Get hype on tracks and jump in front of a bullet you wasn’t meant for/Cause you don’t really wanna hear me vent more / Hot temper, scary outcome / Here’s a reason for niggas that’s hatin’ without one /That always let they mouth run / Bench players talkin’ like starters, I hate it”

Drake tells Pusha T to mind his business and calls him G.O.O.D. Music’s bench player.

Pusha T – H.G.T.V. Freestyle (2016)

“It’s too far gone when the realest ain’t real/I walk amongst the clouds, so your ceilings ain’t real / These ni**as ‘Call of Duty’ ’cause they killings ain’t real / With a questionable pen so the feeling ain’t real.”

Pusha T references “So Far Gone” as well as the clouds on the “Nothing Was The Same” artwork. He also mentions Drake’s “questionable pen” after the ghostwriting rumors.

“330 spin, cook a steak up on this grill / Me myself and I, we like a hamster in the wheel / Rolls emblem, Black Virginian / Pull in a neighborhood I don’t blend in”

Pusha T makes a reference to Virginia Black, Drake’s new liquor.

Drake – Two Birds One Stone (2016)

“But really it’s you with all the drug dealer stories / That’s gotta stop though / You made a couple chops and now you think you Chapo / If you ask me though you ain’t lining in the trunk with kilos / You bagging weed with all your n****s watching Pacino / Like, ‘This is what we need to be on,’ but never went live / You middleman in this s**t, you were never those guys”

Drake calls Pusha T a fake drug dealer and claims he never really moved weight.
