Everyone loves a great cover song. Artists like Ella Mai have made their come-up from using Youtube to post covers of some of our favorite songs to showcase their talents and ultimately land recording contracts. However their seems to be a very fine line between a cover and a remix. The internet was in an uproar today as it was announced that Jacquees was forced to take down his remix to Ella Mai’s newest single, “Trip” which cause quite an uproar of responses from fans taking sides on if it was right or wrong to have the song taken down. DJ Mustard, who Ella Mai is signed to his 10 Summer’s label, took to Twitter to explain the situation.
