Who Is Rashida?
A singer/songwriter/musician that performs with “the Soul of R&B with the Power of Pop”.
How did you start playing the harp?
At age 10, my mother encouraged me to play the harp and my father was a professional jazz guitarist. He trained me and my 6 siblings in music.
What was it like touring with Lady GaGa?
It was an absolutely incredible, life changing experience. I learned so much from her as an artist, most specifically, how to have a power performance on stage, how to engage with your audience around the world and making strong marketing decisions that will enhance your career.
What’s next for Rashida?
Preparing to tour US major markets, colleges and complete my EP Tales of My Heart. Also, working on endorsements with Starbucks, The American Heart Association and car brands GMC and Cadillac.
What is the name of your single and video?
My new single is Play My Heart, produced by my brothers Nate ‘Impact” Jolley and Noble Jolley. My video was directed by WKYS’ own Jeannie “Kitty of the City” Jones.
