Twenty Families Displaced In Chevy Chase Fire
(Chevy Chase, MD) — About 20 families are displaced and two firefighters are injured after a three-alarm fire at a Chevy Chase apartment complex. Montgomery County Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham says the fire started around 2:15 yesterday afternoon at the Round Hill Apartments in the 28-hundred block of Terrace Drive.
Graham says the two injured firefighters are expected to be okay. The cause of the fire, which apparently started in or near the attic area, is under investigation.
