On Friday, 93.9 WKYS hosted another HOT event-Meek Mill’s ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ tour at The Fillmore. When I firt pulled up, the line was wrapped around the corner. Thanks to my connect, I was able to get around back and go backstage to get some exclusives. Upon my arrival, who do I see? Wale! After dapping up with him, I entered the building where Black Cobain and Shy Glizzy had the crowd rocking to every word. After their performance, my connect told me that she had seen Drake’s security and that he was in the building. At first, I thought she was pulling my leg, but as I sat upstairs in Meek’s VIP section which overlooked the stage and saw Drizzy huge security and him walking with a red cup in his hand, I knew she wasn’t joking.
Before Drake hit the stage, I saw Wale run by backstage to take the stage as Meek cued his dj to start ‘Actin’ Up’. Just like clockwork, just seconds before Wale’s verse was to start, he appeared from behind the crowded stage and the audience went nuts!
Just moments later, Meek begins performing his verse on Amen and seconds later, Drake hits the stage. The crowd erupts, and the rest is history. Check out some fan footage of their ‘Amen’ performance, after the jump.
