In the hip hop industry, besides Reverend Run or former Badboy Artist, Mase (aka Pastor Mason Betha), it is not that often that you hear of a rap artist publicly acknowledging their affinity for Christ (except when accepting an award) ..or even going to church on a regular basis. The game seems to be changing. According to GlobalGrind, DMX is now a Deacon!
During an exclusive DMX interview with GlobalGrind, DMX says:
“Yeah, I read the whole bible. I just been made a deacon at the church I used to go to – Morning Star. I would like my first sermon to be there or in Yonkers.”
