PETA just won’t let Beyonce’ be great…SMH
Beyonce’ ROCKED the Super Bowl Halftime show this past Sunday. From her performance, to her dancers, to her wardrobe, King Bey left it all on the stage. Although millions enjoyed what they saw, the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), beg to differ. PETA has an issue with Mrs. Carter…her wardrobe.
During her performance, Beyonce’ wore an iguana and python skinned one piece (photo above). The suit wasn’t fully the skin of an iguana and python, but whether the suit was full or partly, PETA does not agree with the choice. Here is the statement they released regarding Beyonce’s outfit of choice :
“We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés … she’d probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits or other animals who died painfully; Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.”
This is not the first time that the world known organization has has a problem with Beyonce’. PETA approached Bey at a restaurant before. The actions of PETA and its members, are known to be extreme. Throwing red paint on furs and minks is an infamous protest tactic of the group.
Beyonce’ has yet to respond to PETA and their concerns.
