We are in the land of freedom of speech but sometimes common sense comes in handy when using words such as “n*igga.”
Paula Deen is getting all the backlash right now, but she’s in good company. Here are the White celebs caught red-handed using the N-word.
V-Nasty

When: 2011
N-word comment: There are several videos of the White Girl Mob numbers freely using the n word on Youtube.
Reason: According to V-Nasty where she’s from everyone is allowed to use the word.
Jesse James

When: 2010
N-word comment: ”I was told that you slept with a n***er.”
Reason: “There’s not a racist bone in my body.”
According to Jesse James’ mother, he was a frequent user of the N-word and even suggested her son might be a racist. James denied the claims and apologized.

N-word comment: ”Police and n***ers, that’s right/Get outta my way/Don’t need to buy none of your gold chains today.”
Reason: ”I used words like police and n***ers because you’re not allowed to use the word n***er.
Axl’s explanation definitely didn’t make any sense, to justify the usage of the word in song.
Paris Hilton

N-word comment: ”We’re like two n****rs.”
Reason: ”This was six years ago. She was 20 at the time. It was New Year’s Eve. She had been obviously drinking. She sincerely regrets using those words. She is not a racist or an anti-Semite.”
While dancing to Biggie’s “Hypnotize” Paris and Nicky thought it was cool to say that out loud, what made the situation much worse is Paris never apologized for using the word.
Charlie Sheen

When: 2005
N-word comment: ”You’re a piece of sh*t f***ing liar and I hope you f***ing rot in hell. So f*ck you. I hope I never f***ing talk to you again you f***ing c*nt. F**k you. You’re a coward and a liar and a f***ing n***er alright, so f**k you.”
Reason: “I deeply apologize by my choice of words to all I have obviously offended; especially to Tony Todd, an African-American, who was my best man at my first two weddings.”
While his apology didn’t clarify the usage, Charlie has been a one man wrecking crew when it comes to bad press.
John Mayer

N-word comment: ”It’s sort of contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a ‘n***er pass,’”
Reason: ”It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it, because I realize that there’s no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged.”
A case of when keeping it real goes wrong.
Michael Richards

N-word comment: “Throw his a** out. He’s a n***er!” and adding, “Fifty years ago we’d have you upside down with a F******* fork up your a**.”
Reason: ”For me to be at a comedy club and flip out and say this crap, I’m deeply, deeply sorry,” Richards said. “I’m not a racist.”
Not being able to handle a group of hecklers, Richard’s let go a barrage of n-bombs to the crowd which was all catch on tape.
Eminem

N-word comment: ”All the girls I like to bone have big butts/ No they don’t, ’cause I don’t like that n***er shit/ I’m just here to make a bigger hit.”
Reason: ”The tape they played today was something I made out of anger, stupidity and frustration when I was a teenager.
During the long ranging feud between Eminem and The Source magazine, the mag released some unheard music by Eminem after a bitter break up.
Dog The Bounty Hunter

N-word comment: On a recorded conversation with his son Tucker, Dog makes comments about his girlfriend referring to her as a n***er.
Reason: ”I now learned I’m not black at all, and I never did it out of hate… This sounds so stupid. I always did it out of love.”
Dog felt he was able t use the word because he has a special connection to ”Black America”.
Paula Deen

N-word comment: ”Well, what I would really like is a bunch of little n***ers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts, and black bow ties. You know, in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around. Now, that would be a true Southern wedding, wouldn’t it?”
Reason: At the time of the controversy Paula’s reps denied the allegations.
While appearing on the Today show, Paula claims she only used the word once. Unfortunately, that’s too many times.
Alec Baldwin

N-word comment: ”I love that song ‘N*GGAS IN PARIS’!!! I love Kanye!!” Followed by, “Kanye and I are doing a song called N*GGAS IN MONTAUK. My album is called MY BEAUTIFUL PALE TWISTED FANTASY.”
Reason: ”Anyone who thinks that quoting the title of that song is racist is a disgrace. To the human race.”
Sometimes on social networks you have to be a little politically correct, and in Alec’s case that was one of them.
Gwyneth Paltrow

N-word comment: Paltrow posted the following on Twitter, ”N***as in Paris for real.”
Reason: She followed up with ”Hold up. It’s the title of the song!”
After experiencing extreme criticism on Twitter, The-Dream ending up taking the heat. We don’t believe you. you need more people than Jay Z and Beyonce.
Mel Gibson

N-word comment: ”You look like a f****** bitch in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n***ers, it will be your fault.”
Reason: It’s Mel Gibson. Who knows what the real reason for this was. Maybe he couldn’t find any Jews to disrespect at the time.
The outcome of the outburst was his talent agency William Morris dropped him from the roster.
