The late legend Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi-Kristina is engaged to her “brother” Nick Gordon! Bobbi-Kristina took this announcement to her Facebook page. Not only did she announced she was set to tie the knot with Nick, she also made it clear that their relationship is not incest!
We all know that Whitney had a good heart and did anything for children and especially her family. Whitney had taken Nick Gordon at a young age and considered him as her own, her “son”. Though, Whitney never legally adopted Nick, he was a part of her family. Now that Whitney has been deceased for over a year, Bobbi-Kris and Nick relationship has had the people talking; especially because we thought the two considered each other sister and brother.
Low and behold, Bobbi-Kris and Nick took their relationship public and the Houston family was not very happy about their relationship. We saw the family reaction’s to the relationship on The Houstons: On Our Own that premiered on Lifetime network. In addition, the show did show us how Bobbi-Kris and Nick’s relationship played out. The relationship did not seem to be a healthy one and not helping her grieve her mother’s death.
Well it’s nothing we can say now; Bobbi-Kristina speaks on the engagement and address the public by stating:
“YES, we me nick are engaged,” “I’m tired of hearing people say ‘eww your engaged to your brother or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this.'” She further stated “Let me clear up something, we aren’t even real brother and sister nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating. My mom knows me better than any of you. A lot of yall are saying that yall are only saying this all out of love. Which is bull because if that was so, all you would want is for me to be happy.”
The final touches of her address to the public:
“People need to seriously stop judging my relationship. Pretty sure it’s my own decision who I want to be with. Yes, my relationship may not be perfect. We will have rough patches, just like every other relationship. And we have had our rough patches. You may or may not agree with my relationship. You may or may not respect it. Judge me, go ahead. Your opinions are yours and mine are mine. It is my life and not yours. The decisions I make have nothing to do with you. Goodnight.”
