It’s done.  The verdict is in.  NOT GUILTY on all counts.  Now what?   Debates or dialogue?   It’s already a given.. many will question how is it that NFL star, Michael Vick, was found guilty and sentenced to 23 months in jail for his association with dog fighting and the death of pitbulls, and how NFL star, Plaxico Burress was sentenced to 20 months in  prison after accidentally shooting himself in a New York nightclub, but George Zimmerman was sentenced to nothing for the shooting death of an unarmed teenager?

Yes, it happened.  And even if George Zimmerman was found guilty and sentenced to life… Trayvon Martin would still be dead.  There is no bringing back Trayvon.  Now what?

We are all in this world for a limited time. Once a day is over, there is no getting it back.   We have no absolute control over man made laws that are flawed.  But we do have the ability control our emotions and our thoughts. We can choose to ‘react’ or be ‘proactive’ in situations.  We can choose to walk in Faith or respond in fear and anger.  We can choose to relive painful moments in our mind or create new moments of joy.

No one can offend you without your consent.

Let’s not be offended.. lets learn and grow.

Let’s Learn from this.. like we learned from

Oscar Grant, Michael Griffith, Sean Bell and many others who died a death they didn’t deserve.

Let’s learn from this and grow from this.  Let’s heal.

Not trying to preach.. but

Jesus Christ suffered and died a death that He didn’t deserve as well.

Yes, The RIGHTEOUS Christ died for UNRIGHTEOUS men.

It’s ok to hurt right now.  It’s time.

Rest In Peace Trayvon.

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
 a time to mourn and a time to dance~ Ecclesiastes 3: 3-4

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy~ John 16:20
