Recently Tamar Braxton and her husband Vincent Herbert welcomed their son Logan Vincent Herbert on June 6 of this year. Tamar did an interview recently and stated “Logan is everything. He is so yummy. Immediately everything changes but immediately you don’t fall in love. But I heard that you do, but they lied. Somebody lied. Just like you fall in love with a person, its just like that. They’re little people. He is so yummy.”
The media took this quote and ran with it “Immediately everything changes but immediately you don’t fall in love.” The media tried to twist Tamar’s words as if she does not love her son and put the mother in a bad light.
It is very disturbing how the media will take something a celebrity says, twist it and run with it. When it comes to children, children are very sensitive topic to mess with. Especially, when it comes to this singer and her husband, their child was a blessing and unexpected. Tamar opened up about her and Vincent’s troubles of trying to get pregnant on their own and look now, they are parents!
Tamar cleared up the rumor by stating “Yes you do love your child. I love mine. But you’re shocked. You cannot believe that this person was swimming in your belly for nine months and here you are. Now you’re a mother. And I’m thinking, ‘Oh my goodness, I’m a mother and this is my baby.’ It feels like a dream actually. That’s what I meant when I said I didn’t fall in love immediately. I was in complete shock.”
