August 25, the entire world will be tuned into MTV to catch the 2013 MTV Awards where a major performance was announced yesterday, Chicago musical mastermind, Kanye West will perform at the MTV Awards at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.
The media spread the word via several social media outlets and most notably was an Instagram post taken at the BK Bridge that was captioned, ” BREAKING! Kanye West to perform at 2013 VMSs8/25 at @Barclayscenter ! Don’t Worry Ye, we got your damn croissants. #RoadToVMAS”
This is Kanye’s first performance on the VMAs since the infamous interruption of Taylor Swift in 2009, and this performance also ties Madonna with Kanye for the most VMA performances in one lifetime, Madonna holds the record currently at 7.
