Last season, the hit “talent show” “American Idol”, was full of more drama than talent. Drama occurred on the show with new Idol judges, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. This resulted in the two of them chuckin’ deuces, and longtime Idol judge Randy Jackson, following behind them. With Country star Keith Urban standing alone, it was time to fill the Idol judge table. Jennifer Lopez has been a name in the Idol judge pool; and another that is treading along with hers is Kane West!?
Now I was surprised to find out that Kanye was even on the ballot to be an Idol judge. But then again, I guess he would be the perfect contender to replace Nigel. Even though that would be an interesting situation, insiders say that Kanye has declined to be an Idol judge. Mr. Cool Kanye West has been quoted saying that he didn’t want to go mainstream, and that being an Idol judge would hurt his reputation.
Interesting for him to say that he didn’t want to go mainstream, and that Idol would “hurt” his reputation. I personally feel that opposite about his opinions, and feel that Idol would have been quite interesting with a judge like Kanye West.
Hopefully some talking can be done to persuade him to change his mind.
