Great news for fans of southern rapper Lil Boosie, born Torrence Hatch. The ‘Free Boosie’ campaign has been going strong for as long as he had been locked up and since the southern rapper was acquitted on murder charges, he was sentenced to 8 years in prison on drug charges. His attorneys suspect that he was only serve a few more months of that sentence before being released on parole. Jeff Weiss has been following the entire Boosie circus and he tweeted this ,“Just got word that judges have agreed to give back Boosie’s hard drives and computers. It means a whole lot of new Boosie music coming soon,” Weiss added in a following tweet, “No official release date yet for Boosie’s return. But his attorneys say no more than four to five months from today.”
