This weekend has been a nightmare for Kenyans as Islamist Militants storm the world famous, Nairobi Mall killing 59 (So Far) and injuring at least 175.  News outlets around the world have been keeping a close eye on the situation and have been trying to decipher exactly what is going on. President Kenyatta is among those grieving after finding out that his nephew and fiancee’ are among those dead. He delivered a chilling speech to his people in the wake of the attacks.

“They shall not get away with their despicable, beastly acts. Like the cowardly perpetrators now cornered in the building, we will punish the masterminds swiftly and indeed very painfully,” said President Kenyatta as reported by CNN

Media outlets have been following the Twitter Activity of the Militant group Al-Shabaab and their feuds with Kenya. Their twitter reveals that they are not holding back and will continue to do harm, blaming the Kenyan government for the massacre. It’s so much happening in our brother’s and sister’s land, it’s important that we stand together and pray for them.
