You know I enjoy these foolish stories of people and their intelligence, this one comes from California and tells the tale of a man who accepted a package that got him locked up.

Long Island Newsday reports:

A California man was arrested Wednesday after a Nassau County police officer posing as a UPS driver delivered a 25-pound box of marijuana to a house in Elmont — and he retrieved it from the front steps.

Police said David Banks, 47, of 1109 Fairview Blvd., Inglewood, Calif., was arrested at the home on Lehrer Avenue at 4:45 p.m. He was charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana and faces arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Way to go, that guy.
