Senseless people, Senseless crimes… Well deserved time. Especially after this crazy reaction. What an idiot.

WoodTV8:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – The man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of a Grand Rapids mother of five was sentenced Monday afternoon, but not without an outburst.

Jahleel Hoskins was sentenced in Kent County Circuit Court to 50 to 100 years for the second-degree murder charge and 12 to 50 years in prison for tampering with evidence. The sentences will run concurrently.

After he was sentenced, Hoskins threw over a podium that was standing in front of the judge. He also yelled at the family of Latrice Maze, the murder victim.

An officer had to restrain Hoskins, and then two more officers had to help to get him out of the courtroom through a side door.

As soon as he was pulled out of the courtroom, members of Hoskins’ family and members of Maze’s family got into a shouting match, and more officers had to break up that fight as well.

Maze went missing on March 19. Less than two months later, Grand Rapids police said they believed her body had been incinerated and dumped in a landfill after Hoskins put it in a Dumpster.

Hoskins was originally charged with open murder in Maze’s death.

On the third day of his murder trial, he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of second-degree murder.
