twista-getty-The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the bodyguard of Chicago rapper, Twista, was found shot to death and set on fire in a South Side, Chicago home early Friday morning.

Davy Easterling was found in an apartment in the 8300 block of South Baker Avenue around 6 a.m. on Friday, the same day Twista took to Twitter and Instagram saying that his “close friend” had been missing for three days.

Saturday, Twista stated “#RIP Davy Easterling aka 6’9 I have lost too many good friends to these streets.”

Spokesperson for The Chicago Fire Department, Larry Langford, said that the fire department’s Office of Fire Investigations has determined that the fire was started by a person. Police have opened up a homicide investigation.
