Nyong’o will join a stellar cast including Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac, Max Von Sydow as well as original “Star Wars” members: Harrison Ford (Hans Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker).  With the addition of Nyong’o, “Star Wars VII” will now have two Black actors  featured in their upcoming feature.  John Boyega, who won rave reviews in his 2012 sci-fi indie “Attack The Block” was cast back in April.

“Star Wars: Episode VII” is slated for a December 2015 release.

Congrats to Lupita!
