On this past Saturday, Texas born Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak, who played Mel Gibson’s Daughter in the 2000 movie ‘The Patriot’, unexpectedly passed away. Her untimely death is unknown but it has been reported that she died in her sleep at her Texas home.
Starting her career as a successful child Actress, she appeared in several films including “The Cider House Rules” in 1999 and “Don’t Say A Word” opposite of Actor Michael Douglas. Her more recent featured work was on popular TV shows “24”, “Lost” and House M.D.”. Bartusiak latest endeavors were producing and starring in several short films.
