The news took everyone by surprise; Meek Mill in jail just months before the release of his sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money. Meek Mill was taken to jail on the 12th of this month, and with the judge’s ruling, he won’t be leaving until September.
Since Meek has been in jail, his lawyers filed a petition on the 17th for an emergency hearing. If approved, the hearing would allow Meek Mill to be released, bu the same judge that banged the gavel on his parole violation, denied the emergency hearing; her schedule won’t be clear until September.
The judge is not pleased with Meek’s social network behavior. The judge is claiming that part of the reason for revoking Meek Mill of an early hearing is due to his antics and particular postings.
With Meek Mill being in jail, promotion for his album has come to an halt, but with all that is going on with Meek Mill, this may be the promotion Dreams Worth More Than Money needs. Dreams Worth More Than Money, is set to drop September 9th.
