Houston Rapper Recovering After Home Invasion That Left One Man Dead

On Tuesday evening, rapper Doughbeezy was attacked when he arrived at the home of a friend in Houston Heights, a northwest-central neighborhood in Houston, TX.
Doughbeezy, born Tai Carr, reported to police that he walked in during a home invasion, and was held at gunpoint and pistol whipped.
Following the ordeal, Doughbeezy posted on his Instagram account that he grabbed a gun from the trunk of his car, but did not go into detail about what happened next. However, police reported that an unidentified individual did in fact retrieve a gun from a vehicle and open fire. There is no confirmation whether or not it was Doughbeezy who fired the shots, but one of the suspects was killed.
Doughbeezy is not granting any interviews and is said to be recovering from his injuries at home.
