This past Friday, cops from the Anchorage Police Department stormed pro-marijuana hangout the Alaska Cannabis Club, which is operated by former KTVA reporter Charlo Greene (born Charlene Egbo). Greene became Internet famous after she delivered an anti-marijuana segment (that coincidentally featured the Cannibis Club) and revealed that she was the secret owner of of it and then proceeded to quit her job live on the air.

Anchorage Police released an official statement and while the investigation is ongoing, confirmed that they had confiscated two cars, computers, bank statements, other substances in the vicinity and any marijuana left from what they’ve deemed to be from “illegal sales.”

Greene spoke to local media and insisted that the Cannabis Club was not a place for recreational use, but community purposes. “This is basically a medical marijuana dispensary. We don’t sell any recreational marijuana, we don’t sell any medical marijuana. This is a place for card holders to come and share their own cannabis.”

She also fought back on her Instagram and uploaded a more expletive-filled post, promising that Anchorage’s “war on drugs” wouldn’t prevail and that “we’re just getting started, bitch.” Hold up!

So as marijuana becomes a hot topic in one of Alaska’s biggest towns, Greene seriously declared her advocacy for ganja to the world. Long before the raid even happened, she was sharing pro-marijuana posts and memes about the stoner life on social media.

The video above is the original and full news clip that Greene had reported on and evidently was the last straw for her. (Fast-forward to 3:08 to see the epic part).
