Pras was unfortunately the butt of most jokes when it came to The Fugees. Wyclef Jean fell into some oil and onto a Ducati, but he gave us The Carnival, so he’s good.
Lauryn Hill was always the most talented of the trio. She was gifted with a voice that made her cover of a Roberta Flack song the standard. Her bars were tight. The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill will forever be a classic, and she’s still making good stuff. Yes, she’s the best.
But is The Score even more of a classic if you subtract Jean and the other guy? No, but it’s an interesting listen to say the least. Uproxx unleashed a mix of the album featuring just Hill verses. Relive the greatness below.
