Omari Hardwick is arguably one of the sexiest men to ever hit the small screen, so, if he’s talking, we’re listening.
The hunky actor sat down with YBF to talk all about the inspiration behind his “Power” character Ghost – and lucky us, his interview comes just before season 2 of the highly anticipated series premieres tonight.
Check out an interesting excerpt from the sit-down below:
“What I thought Bill Cosby did such a great job with, and we don’t give him enough credit for it, is that it wasn’t just that he had fathered the kids that played his children, he fathered an entire generation.
So what I thought was, if Ghost can be this guy that’s different and larger than life in a ‘bad way’, then let’s equal that with him being sort of a Bill Cosby who’s a drug dealing king pin. And we had never seen that before. So I went in with that sort of rhythm.”
His co-star Lela Loren was also there to talk about the show’s juicy plot and steamy sex scenes. Watch the interview above.
A source tells us, “They’ve known each other a long time… They’ve always been close,” adding that the romantic part is “new, and they’re seeing where it will go.” On Wednesday, the two were spotted in Toronto and then the following night they were together again in New York, where paparazzi took photos of the two kissing. When Gossip Cop reached to a rep for Jonas about them now “hooking up,” we were told “no comment.”
