Stephen Curry Injures Right Angle In Game Against Houston Rockets
Golden State Warriors MVP Stephen Curry sprained his right ankle, causing him to have to sit out part of game 1 against the Houston Rockets. Now, it’s a toss up as to whether or not he’ll be able to play in tomorrow night’s game.
Curry scored 24 points, making him the game’s leading scorer even though he played less than 20 minutes. Despite trying to talk coach Steve Kerr into returning, Kerr and his staff elected not to take any chances. Kerr called Curry’s participation in Game 2 ‘questionable’, while Curry said he can’t imagine a scenario in which he wouldn’t play. Curry has had major work done to repair and strengthen his ankles, and though the seriousness of his recent injury has yet to be determined, many analysts think Curry will start Game 2 and play the entire game,
If history has taught us anything, it’s that luck tends to sway in the Warriors’ favor, which is why we tend to think nothing can stop Curry. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s game!
