The Ayesha Curry shade continues. Weeks after the end of the NBA Finals, the basketball wife is just trying to enjoy the off-season with her family and get past the drama caused by her Twitter fingers, but she can’t seem to escape it.
The latest to call Ayesha out for her transgressions is a fellow basketball wife — from the hit show Basketball Wives. Shaunie O’Neal, NBA great Shaquille O’Neal‘s ex-wife and creator of the BBW franchise, appeared on The Preachers to criticize her fellow NBA wife for her now infamous tweets during this year’s NBA Finals, namely her tweet regarding her belief that the NBA is rigged.
O’Neal said, “I personally…didn’t like her tweet. I don’t know Ayesha Curry. I feel like that job that her husband has supports a whole lot of people. You know, including her family, his family what have you. Your husband goes to do a job and to say his job is rigged, is sacrificing a whole love of folks and their livelihood.”
O’Neal did clarify, however, that she did not share Stephen A. Smith‘s opinion on the matter. “You know, I don’t believe in ‘she’s a woman, she’s a wife, be quiet and sit at home.’ I don’t believe in that,” she said. “I feel like she should express her opinion, just maybe be smart about it. Was it rigged when your husband was winning. or was it just rigged when he was losing?”
