TDE promised us six projects this year, and they’re moving full steam ahead with their projections.
In 2016, TDE released Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered and ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP, and now they’re gearing up to drop Tennessee native Isaiah Rashad’s new project on September 2. Top Dawg sent out a cryptic tweet with the date “9.02.16.”
Hours later, Isaiah’s “Free Lunch” appeared on iTunes.
“Meal ticket, ticket, meal ticket, ticket, comma/ Still in my liver, real n*ggas in my condom/ Phil hit me back, filled this one with a powder pack/ Pill bring me back, feel this one out in California,” raps Isaiah.
In 2014, Isaiah released his debut Cilvia Demo. No word on what Isaiah’s forthcoming project will be titled, but stay tuned. Before the year is out, expect new projects from SZA, Ab-Soul, and TDE’s newest signee Lance Skiiiwalker.
