Kanye West can’t wrap his mind around the wonder that is the McDonald’s french fry. So, he hit up Frank Ocean‘s Boys Don’t Cry magazine with a poem called “The McDonald’s Man. ” Makes total sense to us.
“McDonald’s Man/ McDonalds Man/ The french fries had a plan,” West begins before bringing the rest of the fast food company’s menu into it. “The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band to overthrow the french fries’ plan/ I always knew them french fries was evil man/smelling all good and shit” he wrote in a few bars that really make his gift for rhyming clear.
Of course, McDonald’s is lovin’ it. In their official response, the company threw a little shade at one part of ‘Ye’s piece. Towards the end, the rapper said the McRib was “artificial meat,” but McDonald’s set the record straight.
