The Twitter trend started out when Chance The Rapper and others began posting videos of themselves freestyling over Monica and Missy Elliott’s 2003 hit “So Gone.”
Dedicating this freestyle to her ex-girlfriend, Young M.A writes “shout out to my ex, I love u baby” on SoundCloud. The arrival of M.A’s freestyle comes just a day after she released the official remix to her breakout single “OOOUUU.”
