With his Prima Donna EP garnering a lot of buzz, Vince Staples releases a 10-minute short film directed by Nabil.
Nabil, who’s most known for directing Kanye West’s “Welcome to Heartbreak” and Frank Ocean’s “Pyramids” visuals, brought his expertise to the Long Beach rapper’s short film and delivered a visual filled with illusions and confusion. By the end of the video, Vince looks deprived and thoroughly drained.
What are you going to see in 10 minutes? Images of Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Tupac, and other deceased icons, as well as a few questionable characters.
Prima Donna is currently available on iTunes. Watch Prima Donna, the film, above.
