The beginning of 2017 has brought us the ridiculous yet funny beef between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. From what we see this beef started from “Big” Soulja liking some of Breezy’s Ex-Girlfriend Karrueche‘s Instagram pics and almost ended up with Soulja getting jumped in
C Bompton. Soulja apologized to his fans, Brown and others for his erratic behavior but nothing seems to have really changed.
Reportedly Brown and Soulja are working with Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent and will box for charity in the coming months. Of course, if this were to happen both men would need to keep this beef up for ticket sales, possible Pay-Per-View money and just to stay relevent. All of that is cool. That is the nature of the game and whether this fight happens or not, this is keeping people talking about Soulja in a world in which social media is king and trending brings big bucks. However sometimes things can go to far and in my opinion, Soulja crossed a line.
Above is a pic from Soulja Boy’s Instagram. Soulja screenshot a photo from Brown’s child’s mother Nia Guzman which features his daughter Royalty. He also tagged Mayweather and The Money Team in the pic. Sorry but that’s out-of-bounds. Kids are off-limits. As a father my primary concern is my son. Yes, I’m one of those fathers who shares cool toddler moments on social media. With my family being thousands of miles away, it’s a great way for them to see those moments and we can laugh together. However, those are our moments. There is no need for anyone that is not family to repost or share those moments.
Especially if we have issues. We don’t know if this beef is real. For all we know Chris and Soulja could be playing us for a fool and before you know it, a Soundcloud link with a song featuring the two would be tweeted out from both. Followed by a joint statement saying we’ve mad amends and things are good. With that being said, leave the shorties out of it.
In his apology, Soulja said his mother was in the hospital. He looks very concerned in the video you feel for him. I mean, no one wants to hear about anyone’s mom in poor health. How would he feel Breezy found a pic of his moms and posted it on social?
