Suspect in Memphis Rapper Sayso P’s Murder Found Dead in Houston

A man wanted in connection with the murder of Memphis rapper Sayso P was found dead in Houston, Texas, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Jayden Dandridge, 21, was named as a suspect in the March 23 shooting in Downtown Memphis that killed Sayso P, whose real name was Latorian Hunt, and injured Houston rapper Sauce Walka. Authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Dandridge on March 26, charging him with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, and two counts of employing a firearm during the commission of a felony. That warrant has since been withdrawn following his death.
A second suspect, Kevin Brown, 22, was identified by police on Monday. Brown is facing charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property valued between $10,000 and $60,000. As of Monday, he remains at large.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts to contact CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-2274. A $6,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
Memphis police have not released further details regarding Dandridge’s death in Houston. The investigation into the Downtown Memphis shooting remains ongoing.
