Voter registration booths are frequently set up at convenient locations months prior to the general election (this year on November 6). But what if you don’t have time to stop during the day and register to vote in person? For those who are always ripping and running, mailing in your voter registration form might be ideal.
Washington, D.C. residents can register to vote here.
Maryland residents can register to vote here.
After you fill out and print you voter registration form online, send it in and call the board of elections in your state a few weeks afterward if you haven’t heard back from them.
Be mindful of the registration deadline your state has set in place. Many states have a deadline of 30 days prior to the election, but a few have only 21 days prior, including Maryland.
