Another tell all book is on the way to hit book shelves everywhere. This time, the tattletale author of the tell all is newest ‘Love& Hip Hop : New York’ (LHH) cast member, Winter Ramos. On the show, Winter reveals to the cast and the rest of the world, that she would be writing a tell all book about her experience and relationships in the hip hop game. Her book is titled “Game Over”.
Now call me late, but the first time I even heard of Winter was on the show LHH. With that being said, I feel that this tell all book, is a cry for relevance and fame, but anywho! Once it was revealed on the show that Winter was going to write the book, she received backlash from some of her cast mates. Some not agreeing with the content, while others didn’t agree with her choice, and felt that she was breaking “code”; the same “code” Karrine Steffans, Carmen Bryan, and Buffie The Body broke.
Although the book has not been released, an excerpt from the book has. AllHipHop obtained an excerpt from the book, where April Winter talks about her involvement with the rappers Game, and Jadakiss. Here is the excerpt:
“Jason wasn’t there and hadn’t been there. I got mad. What kind of business could he be handling that would keep him gone all night? Immediately, I jumped to the conclusion and figured he was with another b*tch, although he’d never played me like that before. Out of spite, I returned to Game’s room.”
Now if you’re wondering who Jason is, that would be Jadakiss, whose real name is Jason Phillips. The situation above comes after Winter was done keeping Game company. With this excerpt, one can definitely see that Winter Ramos made her rounds with different rappers, love triangles and all!
With this small piece from the book, there is some interest to get into more of Winter Ramos’ business. “Game Over” is set to hit book shelves on April 1, 2013. Whether these stories and events in the book are non-fiction, I do find it funny that she decided to release her tell all on April Fools Day.
