Word on the street is that the Queen of Hip Hop and R&B is joining the royals of the United Kingdom. Reportedly, Mary J Blige will be taking a flight across the pond to record an album with the working title “The London Sessions”. The project is said to include UK’s top songwriters, producers, and hit makers. The news connects the dots with British based collaborations Mary did earlier this year with English electro duo Disclosure on their “F for You” remix and Sam Smith on his hit “Stay With Me,” which they performed live at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
