(Alexandria, VA)  —  Five members of a Fairfax County gang are charged with running a prostitution ring that recruited high school girls and threatened them with violence if they tried to leave.  The U.S. Attorney’s Office, FBI and Fairfax County Police worked to uncover the prostitution ring, which is alleged to have been run by the “Underground Gangster Crips” gang.  Police say the group used social networking sites including Facebook to lure the girls into prostitution.  Prosecutors say over the last year, at least ten high school girls have been identified as potential victims.
