From ‘Sweet Sixteen’ to G.O.O.D to Adidas, Teyana Taylor is what I like to call #NOstoplights !
The Harlem native hooked up with Adidas, and designed her own shoe! The name of the sneaker…The Harlem GLC (Good Luck Charm). The shoe and name, reflects where Taylor came from.
The color choice…bronze. The texture…snakeskin scale. Her shoe also has interesting detail on the back to complete the look. Taylor was of course anticipating the release of the shoe, but so were some of her celebrity cohorts.
Taylor posted screen shot tweets, on her Instagram account, of Miley Cyrus, and Lashontae Heckard asking where their pair were. There was even a tweet from Trinidad James asking for his pair; and he doesn’t buy shoes unless they’re popular.
Congratulations to Teyana Taylor and her new sneaker. She is starting off the year on a good foot! (no joke). Not only did her shoe release, but her album, off the G.O.O.D Music label is being anticipated this year as well.
Oh! And if anyone was curious, I’ll take my pair of GLC’s in a size 6. Thankies!!
