Meek Mill and Cassidy aren’t the only rappers who have a beef right now. Matter of fact, the males aren’t the only ones who have battles, the females want to get some action too!
New York rapper Azealia Banks, and Detroit rapper Angel Haze, have been at each others neck for the past couple of days. Both females are up and coming into the rap game. You may have seen Angel Haze on BET’s Hip Hop Awards last year, spitting in the East Coast cypher. (She was the one channeling Aaliyah). Azealia Banks may be familiar to you, because of her popular single ‘212’.
Like all beefs, especially beefs with Azealia, it all started on Twitter. First, Banks tweeted about non New Yorkers claiming to be from New York. Being that Haze mentioned N.Y. in a previous tweet, she felt that Banks’ unmentioned tweet was directed towards her. (Clearly she felt threatened). From then on, it was on like Donkey Kong!
Azealia tweeting about Angel having a crush on her, and wanting to have some “face time”. And Angel tweeting about Azealia still wearing Rocawear, and having no edges (SMH).
Being that Twitter beefs can only go on for so long, the two made diss tracks towards the other. Azealia’s diss track entitled “No Problems”, and Angel Haze’s called hers “On The Edge”.
