Wedding bells are ringing, and hopefully the second chime is better than the first.
The “New Normal” and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Nene Leakes, will be taking a walk down the isle once again. If you guessed that it was with ex-husband Greg she would be marrying, then you are absolutely right. If you have been keeping up with this seasons’ “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, you may have seen this coming.
Nene and Greg made their divorce final in 2011 after 17 years of marriage. Even though the two were divorced, they still remained friends; which hardly happens once the divorce is final. After being friends for so long and still having a strong bond even after divorce, it was hard to fight the love that they had for one another.
Nene’s Twitter followers were the first to know of the engagement, as she tweeted, “My Answer Was Yes!”. For the proposal, Greg showed his romantic side with dinner, rose petals, champagne, and chocolate. (Sounds like what most girls want when they are proposed to).
I am actually glad that Greg and Nene are going to give their love another try. Going off what I see in the news, and on the show (so sue me), the two seem to really love each other. Congratulations to both Nene and Greg!!
