President Barack Obama is going to be partying next weekend!!
Earlier this week, it was announced that Beyonce’, Kelly Clarkson, and James Taylor, would all be lending their talent to President Obama’s 2nd Term Inauguration. Well, you can now add Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, and Usher to the list.
The newest talents added were announced earlier today. Here is what President Obama has to say (Courtesy of PerezHilton.com) about his 2nd Term Inauguration Festivities :
“Vice President [Joe] Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony. Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country.”
The stars are definitely going to be out next week for the Inauguration. Also making appearances are Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Marc Anthony, and the cast of the hit show ‘Glee’!!
Being in the city is definitely a must next weekend. President Obama and all his supporters will be doing it up!
