Everyone’s favorite sitcom, Good Times, is coming to a BIG screen near you soon. Deadline reports that “the movie version will be set in the tumultuous ‘60s, “a rich and politically charged period to mine.”

If you have no idea what ‘Good Times’ was, shame on you!

Good Times focused on working-class couple James and Florida Evans as they raised three kids while struggling with hard financial times, unemployment and keeping their kids away from temptations that came with living in a Chicago housing project.

Scott Rudin will produce and Phil Johnston (“Wreck-It Ralph”) will write the script for the movie.

The question is, who will and could play JJ, Thelma, Michael, Florida, James, and Wilona? Do you think this is a good idea?
